College of Arts and Sciences Life and Sciences Department-CPU held a live webinar for the third and fourth year biology students, entitled “How to Make an Effective Research Poster”, last 8th October, 2021 via the google meet which lasted for two hours, from 8:30 until 10:30 in the morning.
Guest speaker Mr. Christopher Marlowe A. Caipang, Ph. D., BIOTA Officer and a faculty at University of San Agustin, shared his knowledge and expertise on research poster making and talked about the important factors that makes a research poster effective.
The webinar was hosted by Shaina Faith Laquihon, a 4th year representative of CPU Biological Society. The event started with the admission of the participants, then an opening prayer and introduction to the webinar. After that was the opening remarks given by the University President Teodoro C. Robles, welcoming all the participants on the webinar. Continuing, the presentation of staff and the guest speaker. Then, the discussion and the Q and A portion which was addressed by Mr. Caipang. The webinar ended with closing remarks given by Stella G. Fernandez, CAS Dean.
