MARCH 5 Town Hall Meeting

College of Arts and Sciences conducted a Town Hall meeting on March 5, 2022 at 2 o’clock, held via zoom. It was participated by block representatives coming from each department. CPUR Vice President Lander Dean Alcorano, Senator Daryl Lutero, and CAS Representative Jeanine Marquez of CPUR Ministry of Organizations and Fraternities and The Arts and Sciences Voice Prints were also present.
The program was hosted by Niche Clarisse G. Jover BAPSPA I commenced with a prayer led by Jayza Mae Importante BAPSPA IV and was followed by an astonishing performance by Mark Janscen Bautista BSChem II to kickstart the event.
The primary objective of the Town Hall Meeting that was presided by CAS Representative Marquez and was attended by 52 CAS students is to present an Accomplishment report discussing the resolutions or acts that she together with Senator Lutero has authored, co authored, and sponsored such as PA 1713 or the Agalon Digital Branding and Promotion Act of 2021, PA 1717 or An Act Institutionalizing the Citizen Satisfaction Survey Act of 2022, PA 1701 or The Seal of Good Local Governance Act of 2021, PA 1705 or The Orgs and Frats Voluntary LTS Act of 2021, PA 1707 or the Strengthened CPU Republic Mother Organization Act of 2021, PA 1712 or the Amended Agalon CBL Act of 2021, PA 1714 or the CPUR ICREATE SDG Act of 2021, PA 1716 BULIG ANAY ACT of 2022, CPUR Ethical Standards and Accountability Act of 2022, PA 1702 or the CPUR Strengthened Local Fiscal Administration Act of 2021, PA 1709 or the CPUR OFFICIAL GAZETTE ACT OF 2021
During the open forum, the questions and concerns of students were tackled. CAS representative Marquez and CAS Gov Cabilla addressed the concerns of the student body and assured them that what has been discussed during the said meeting will be forwarded to the CPU Republic.
